Please briefly describe your Communities Talk activity.

To plan the activity, emails were sent to community partners, the local police department, and MADD program. To encourage participation in the event, planning Zoom meetings took place, and an event flyer was created and shared on social media and in the school newsletter.

One of the officers became ill the day of the event but sent another officer in his place to participate.

The Communities Talk activities provide us with opportunities to continue to do the prevention work around substance use among teens.
